Job Description & Responsibilities

The Handyman/Handywoman roles involve key tasks related to airport ground handling. Duties include baggage and cargo handling, loading/unloading, cabin cleaning, wheelchair assistance, and assisting technicians. This position follows a three-shift rotation, including night shifts, with weekly rotational offs.

Employees are eligible for Casual Leave, Sick Leave, and benefits like EPFO and ESIC. Career growth opportunities are performance-based.

Selection Process

Physical Endurance Test: Candidates will undergo tests such as weightlifting and running.
Interview: Candidates qualifying in the endurance test will proceed to a personal or virtual interview.

Note: Selection may take place on the same day or subsequent days. Outstation candidates should make arrangements for accommodation and travel at their own cost if needed.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates are required to walk-in at the specified venue on the given date and time with the following documents:

Completed application form and recent passport-sized photograph (not older than 3 months).
Copies of relevant certificates (self-attested) and a valid passport copy (if available).
Non-refundable application fee of INR 500 (in the form of a Demand Draft in favor of “AI AIRPORT SERVICES LIMITED,” payable at Mumbai). SC/ST candidates and ex-servicemen are exempted.
No Objection Certificate (NOC) for candidates currently employed in government, semi-government, or PSUs.

Important Guidelines

Reservation: Reservation for SC/ST/OBC candidates will follow government directives.
Contract Details: Positions are on a 3-year contract basis, with possible renewals based on performance. Transfers may be made to other stations in India as per operational needs.
Travel Reimbursement: SC/ST candidates residing beyond 80 km from the venue may be eligible for travel reimbursement (second-class rail/bus fare).
