The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released a recruitment notification for 6025 vacancies for Leave Training Reserve (LTR) Teachers for Government Secondary Schools under the S&ME Department, Odisha. Educational Qualification:

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Science (PCM/CBZ):

Bachelor's degree in Science/B.Tech/B.E. or a 4-year Integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. with specific subjects and B.Ed./M.Ed. or equivalent from NCTE-recognized institutions.

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Arts:

Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Commerce with two subjects, B.Ed./Integrated B.A. B.Ed. from a recognized institution.

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Odia:

Bachelor’s degree with Odia as a subject, B.Ed./Integrated B.A. B.Ed. with Odia as a subject.

Hindi Teacher:

Bachelor's degree with Hindi as a subject, Hindi Shikshan Parangat, or equivalent qualifications like B.Ed./Rastrabhasa Ratna.

Sanskrit Teacher:

Bachelor’s degree in Sanskrit or Shastri (Sanskrit) and Shiksha Shastri qualification.

Telugu Teacher:

Bachelor’s degree with Telugu as a subject, and Telugu B.Ed. or equivalent.

Urdu Teacher:

Alim/Fazil or B.A. (Persian) with B.Ed./Urdu B.Ed. from NCTE-recognized institutions.

Physical Education Teacher (PET):

+2 or equivalent with C.P.Ed./B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed. from a recognized institution.

Age Limit:

Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 38 years
Candidates must not have been born earlier than 02/01/1986 and not later than 01/01/2003.
Age relaxation as per government rules.
