Educational Qualification:
To be eligible for the TGT Arts post under OSSSC Recruitment 2025, candidates must fulfill the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Commerce or Shastri (Sanskrit) Degree from a recognized university with at least two school subjects as defined in the proviso. The candidate must have a minimum of:
- 45% marks for SEBC / SC / ST / PWD / Sportsperson / Ex-Servicemen candidates.
- 50% marks for other candidates.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from any NCTE recognized institution, or
- A 4-year Integrated B.A. B.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institution.
- The candidate must have passed the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET).
The candidate must have studied the following school subjects: English, Odia, Hindi, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy, Landmarks in Indian History, Indian Geography, Indian Polity.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 38 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
